Dear Ptarmigan Property Owners Association, Inc. Member:

The Ptarmigan Property Owners Association Annual Meeting will be held May 3, 2008, in Pagosa Springs, Colorado at 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of conducting business as may properly come before the meeting and election of two (2) Board Members.

The Ptarmigan Property Owners Association, Inc. is looking for owners who are willing to volunteer a few days each year to serve as Ptarmigan Directors. Serving on the Board gives owners the opportunity to be directly involved in the long-term success of their property. Directors are expected to attend four quarterly meetings (typically in early February, May, August, and October) and any special meetings that may be necessary. This commitment is for three years. Directors are not compensated for their services, however, certain expenses may be reimbursed such as mileage at the current IRS rate, two nights lodging not to exceed $90/night (if warranted by distance from Pagosa), or airline ticket, airport parking, and car rental (if equal to or less than mileage and hotel stay of 2 nights), $40.00 per diem for meals, and association related expenses as approved by the Board.

Information concerning nominees, their experience, qualifications, interests, etc., will be included with the official notice of the Annual Meeting which will be mailed to members in March. A ballot and proxy will be included with this mailing.

If you have interest in serving on the Ptarmigan Board please fill out the “Nomination Form” on the reverse side as completely as possible. The Ptarmigan Nomination Committee will carefully examine each form, checking to see that all required and related information is included. Based on the information given on the application, the field of applications will be reduced to no more than ten qualified candidates. Return the form to:
